The Carnin Pluvial Episode (CPE) was a major climate change that happened in the early Late Triassic. The CPE was marked by a sudden enhancement of the global hydrological cycle, increase in sea-surface temperatures, C-cycle disruption and  biotic turnover in the ocean and on land. I study the relationships between the CPE, global C-cycle, biological changhes and coeval large igneous province emplacement by using sedimentary geochemistry, and sedimentological, stratigraphic, and palaeontological data. I'm also interested in the evolutionary innovations that occurred during the Carnian and their links to the changing climate. Go to publications to find out more!
